Halo 2 gamers who log on to Xbox Live this Monday may definitely notice a new experience. No need to leave cheating feedback anymore, or run from a plasma-assault combo wielding foe, as Bungie has officially announced that the first major auto-update will make it's way on to our consoles. The auto-update balances weapons; fixes cheats and bugs and also hints on a complete stats reset.
Though next week's major auto-update will address standard bugs and glitches, it will also tweak several new elements of gameplay.
"The scale of the auto-update gave us a unique opportunity--a chance to implement balance changes on certain weapons to smooth out the Xbox Live and System Link experience, and in a couple of cases, we feel, subtly improving the overall feel of the game," said Bungie representative Frank O'Connor this Friday on Bungie's "Weekly What's Update".
Bungie also state in their "Weekly What's Update" that stat resets Live-wide are being reset from scratch. Check out the full release at Bungie.net by visiting
