Crazy Taxi is best defined as its name. You are a crazy taxi driver that races through cities in order to transport your customers as quickly as possible. You view time as money and you will do anything to save time in order to earn it.

Your customers are willing to pay over the bills for the faster you get to the destination and for your style. You can gain extra money by weaving in and out of traffic, going air born, burnouts, and pretty much anything else that would emprise them. However if you are to slow you could end up being insulted when you arrive at their destination or they will just jump overboard in the middle of the high-way.

Overall there are three cities, Glitter Oasis, and the other two cities from crazy taxi 1 and 2, West Coast and Small Apple. Along with the new cities come new drivers (twelve in all) including, Axel, B.D.Joe, Gena, Gus, Angel, Bixbite, Mrs.Venus, Zax, Slash, Icemane, Cinnamon, and Hot-D.

Speaking of new things, in Crazy Taxi 3 there are new challenges which are called "The crazy X". Similar to some of the other challenges in previous Crazy Taxi games, but these are even crazier then before. Some of the challenges include racing to the finish while a tornado is hurling cars straight at you, bowling, football, driving on the side of mountains, moving platforms, and tons of insane things and obstacles you would never think of.

As for the graphics of the game, it is nothing stunning and marvelous but there are a few new elements that were never in the previous crazy taxi games. For example, fire bursts out of the exhaust when your car accelerates and smoke flies up from your tires when taking sharp turns or coming to a fast stop. Other than effects on the car there are a lot of new characters to pick up and drive around, including everything from football players to mimes to old grandmothers. As well you will have a great time watching them yell at you for being a lousy driver, pointing out the directions, or cheering you on.
